About the Author

Deidre Combs is an organizational development consultant, executive coach, mediator, and professor specializing in cross-cultural approaches to conflict resolution and overcoming challenges. She is the author of three books: The Way of Conflict, Worst Enemy, Best Teacher, and Thriving Through Tough Times. Combs has collaborated with various organizations, including Aveda Corporation, the US Forest Service, IBM, and Landmine Survivors Network. Since 2007, she has been teaching intensive leadership training to leaders from diverse regions, including the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
