Stan Goldberg was a renowned American comic book artist and colorist, best known for his work with Archie Comics. In 1972, Goldberg transitioned to Archie Comics, where he became a staple of the Archie universe. He worked on various titles, including Archie, Betty and Me, Everything's Archie, and Life with Archie. Goldberg also drew the Archie Sunday newspaper comic strip from 1975 to 1980. 

Throughout his career, Goldberg was celebrated for his clean, expressive art style and his ability to capture the humor and heart of teenage life. He was honored with an Inkpot Award in 1994 and was inducted into the National Cartoonists Society's Hall of Fame in 2012. 

Stan Goldberg passed away on August 31, 2014, but his contributions to the world of comics continue to be appreciated by fans and fellow artists alike.
