About the Author – 
Aravind Adiga is an Indian author and journalist, best known for his debut novel The White Tiger, which won the Man Booker Prize in 2008. Born in 1974 in Madras (now Chennai), India, and educated in India and Australia, Adiga later studied at Columbia University and Oxford. Before turning to fiction, he worked as a journalist, including as a correspondent for Time magazine. His writing is known for its sharp social commentary, dark humor, and unflinching portrayal of contemporary India. Adiga’s subsequent works, such as Between the Assassinations and Amnesty, continue to explore issues of class, migration, and morality, establishing him as a significant voice in modern Indian literature.
