About the Author

Heather Morris is a New Zealand-born author who now resides in Australia. Born in 1953 in Te Awamutu, New Zealand, she grew up in the nearby village of Pirongia. After moving to Melbourne in 1971, she met her husband, Steve Morris, in 1973. They returned to New Zealand in 1975 and later moved back to Melbourne in 1987. Morris pursued a degree in Political Science at Monash University, graduating in 1991. She worked as an office manager in the social work department at the Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne from 1995 until 2017.
