BOOK SUMMARY   

The Robots of Dawn" is the third book in Isaac Asimov’s Robot series, published in 1983. It is part of his Robot and Empire series, set in a future where robots, particularly humanoid robots called "robots," coexist with humans in a sprawling galaxy.

The story takes place in the Galactic Empire, hundreds of years before the rise of the Foundation. The plot follows Elijah Baley, a detective from Earth, and his robot companion R. Daneel Olivaw as they travel to the planet Aurora to investigate a murder—or rather, a crime that may have led to a robot’s deactivation, which in turn threatens the harmony of the entire galactic society
