About the author

Alex Rawlings is a renowned British polyglot, author, and language advocate, celebrated for his exceptional multilingual abilities and contributions to language education. Born in London in 1991, he was raised bilingually between the UK and Greece, which ignited his passion for languages. By the age of 20, he was recognized as Britain's most multilingual student in 2012, demonstrating fluency in 11 languages, including English, Greek, German, Spanish, Russian, Dutch, Afrikaans, French, Hebrew, Catalan, and Italian .

Alex studied German and Russian at Oxford University, further immersing himself in language and culture through experiences in Russia and Berlin. After graduating, he spent a year in Budapest learning Hungarian before relocating to Spain. In 2018, he moved to Barcelona, where he continues to reside .

In 2017, Alex authored How to Speak Any Language Fluently, a practical guide drawing from his personal experiences to assist others in mastering new languages.
