About the Author:
Kenichi Ohmae (born 1943) is a renowned Japanese organizational theorist, strategist, and former management consultant. Often called "Mr. Strategy," Ohmae earned international recognition for his expertise in corporate strategy and globalization.
He holds a degree in nuclear engineering from Waseda University and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Ohmae spent over two decades at McKinsey & Company, where he led the firm’s operations in Japan and advised both major Japanese corporations and government bodies.
His works emphasize the decline of national economic boundaries, the rise of global competition, and the need for strategic agility in a fast-changing world.
In addition to his writing and consulting, Ohmae has held academic positions and served as an advisor on global economic policy. He is also the founder of the Kenichi Ohmae Graduate School of Business in Japan.
