About the Author –

Elif Shafak (born October 25, 1971) is a celebrated Turkish-British writer, essayist, and activist. A dual-language author working in Turkish and English, she has published 21 books, with her works translated into over 55 languages. She holds a doctorate in political science and has taught at universities in Turkey, the U.S., and the U.K., including an honorary fellowship at Oxford .

Her storytelling often bridges East and West, exploring identity, feminism, cultural diversity, and spiritual depth.
