The Sound Of Thunder is the second under the Courtney series and the Lion Feeds is the first. The novel is about the war between the British and the Boers. Moreover, the book portrays a lot of hatred in relationships between friends, between a father and son, between brothers and between a man and woman. The book carries the story ahead from where the first novel ends. Sean falls in love with a woman but she returns to her husband who is a soldier in the war. Her husband gets killed and Sean hopes of marrying her. Garrick steps in and cannot let his brother dream of happiness. The next part of the story leaves you captivated with it.
