About the Author

Mikael Krogerus (b. 1976, Stockholm) is a Finnish-Swedish journalist and editor at Das Magazin in Zurich. A graduate of the Kaospilot creative school in Denmark, he previously worked for NZZ FOLIO and Der Freitag. Alongside Roman Tschäppeler, he co-authored internationally bestselling guides such as The Decision Book, The Test Book, and The Communication Book, often combining insightful text with clean, visual design .

Roman Tschäppeler (b. 1978, Bern) is a Swiss creative producer and consultant. Also trained at Kaospilot, he holds a master’s from Zurich University of the Arts and founded the multimedia firm Guzo. He brings a flair for storytelling and design to their collaborative works, blending practical insight with engaging visuals .

They first met at Kaospilot in the early 2000s and have since appeared together at conferences and TEDx talks, using chalkboard-led sessions to unpack decision-making and teamwork—an interactive style reflected throughout the book
