Tatsuya Endo (born July 23, 1980 in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan) began his career in 2000 with one-shot manga like Seibu Yugi published in Akamaru JumHe then created several darker works (Tista, Blade of the Moon Princess, Rengoku no Ashe) before being encouraged by his editor Shihei Lin to develop a lighter narrative  This pivot led to the creation of Spy × Family, a blend of comedy, espionage, and heartfelt family moments, drawing elements from his previous one‑shots
