About the Author:

Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941) was a Bengali polymath, poet, philosopher, and writer. He was the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913. Tagore's work had a profound influence on Bengali and Indian literature, and his legacy continues to inspire writers and artists around the world
