Henry Lion (1900–1966) was an American sculptor known for his works in bronze and stone. Born in Fresno, California, he studied at the Otis Art Institute and with artist Stanton Macdonald-Wright. Lion was active throughout California, completing numerous public commissions, including a bronze statue of Spanish Colonial governor Felipe de Neve installed in Los Angeles Plaza Park in 1932. He also participated in the Works Progress Administration Federal Art Project.
