About the Authors

Steve Andreas

Steve Andreas (born John O. Stevens, 1935–2018) was an American psychotherapist and a pivotal figure in the development and dissemination of NLP. He held a BA in Chemistry (Caltech, 1957) and an MA in Psychology (Brandeis University, 1961). After a background in teaching and publishing, he ventured into NLP in 1977 and co-founded NLP Comprehensive (initially NLP of Colorado) with his wife Connirae Andreas in 1979—a leading training organization in the field. He authored and edited numerous influential books in NLP, including NLP: The New Technology of Achievement, which stemmed from the NLP Comprehensive training team. 

Charles Faulkner

Charles Faulkner (born January 12, 1952) is an American NLP practitioner, life coach, motivational speaker, and former trader. After training with leading market experts, he applied NLP strategies across various domains—including finance, rehabilitation, and sports—and became well-known for modeling human performance.
