Subsequently, he served as the editor of Imprint and Sunday, and later as the editor of Hindustan Times from 1999 to 2004. Sanghvi has also hosted several acclaimed television shows, including A Matter of Taste and Vir Sanghvi's Asian Diary on Discovery Travel & Living. An award-winning food and travel writer, his book Rude Food won the prestigious Cointreau Award for Best Food Literature Book. His other notable works include Mandate: Will of the People, Madhavrao Scindia: A Life, and A Rude Life: The Memoir.
