Nim Gholkar was born and raised in Mumbai, India, and holds an English Literature degree from the University of Bombay. In 1996, she relocated to Australia, where she now lives in Sydney with her husband, three children, and a Rhodesian Ridgeback . Gholkar is a recognised motivational speaker and success coach, travelling extensively across Australia, India, and various international venues to lead workshops on leadership, self-confidence, storytelling, and career growth
Her debut novel, Unravelling Anjali: Diary of an Immigrant Bride, written in a diary format, draws from her own immigrant experiences and was translated into Marathi as Mee Anjali. Nim's writings typically explore cross-cultural challenges, personal growth, and women’s resilience. Beyond fiction, she’s authored self-help titles like Unlock the Real You and A Little Wiser, A Little Happier, all enriched by her platforms “Nim’s Niche” and “Nims Niche Media.” A versatile voice celebrated for its emotional authenticity and motivational clarity, Gholkar seamlessly blends storytelling with practical insight to inspire and connect with readers and audiences alike.
