About the Author –
James Hadley Chase was the pen name of British writer René Brabazon Raymond (1906–1985), one of the most prolific and widely read thriller authors of the 20th century. Known for his sharp plots, gritty dialogue, and morally complex characters, Chase wrote over 90 novels, several of which were adapted into films.
