Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (2007) is the seventh and final book in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. The story follows Harry, Ron, and Hermione on their perilous mission to destroy Voldemort’s Horcruxes—objects containing fragments of the Dark Lord's soul that grant him immortality. Unlike previous books, this installment does not take place at Hogwarts for much of the story. With the help of students, professors, and members of the Order of the Phoenix, they confront Voldemort in a climactic showdown. In the end, Harry sacrifices himself but survives, and Voldemort is finally defeated when his last Horcrux is destroyed.

The book closes with a flash-forward epilogue, showing Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione sending their children off to Hogwarts, marking the end of an era. Deathly Hallows is darker and more intense than the previous books, focusing on themes of sacrifice, loyalty, love, and the power of choice.
