About the Author

Barbara Ann Brennan (1939–2022) was an American healer, therapist, and author recognized for her pioneering work in energy healing. She earned a Master's degree in Atmospheric Physics from the University of Wisconsin and worked as a research scientist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. Despite her scientific background, Brennan felt a strong calling to explore the human energy field. She underwent extensive training in various healing modalities, including bioenergetic therapy, Core Energetics, and spiritual healing. In 1982, she founded the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, which has trained thousands of students worldwide. Her contributions to the field have been widely acknowledged, and she was listed among the 100 most spiritually influential people in the world by Watkins Review in 2011
