Gulliver's travels [palm size]

The famous tale of Gulliver's Travels, in which Mr. Lemuel Gulliver finds himself stranded in so many strange lands and among such peculiar inhabitants, was written in the 18th ceciary. Besides being a good story, Gulliver's Travels is a Satire in which Swift makes fun of, and condemns, some of, the silly ideas and wrong hehaviour of the real world. Gulliver's Travels levels attackon well-known people of Swift's day: members of parliame lawyers, doctors, scientists and human nature itself. Swift sat he wrote to vex people rather than to divert them. He meant has readers to realize that they were just as ignorant as the strange penale met by Gulliver on his travels.
