About the Author
Harville Hendrix (born 1935 in Georgia) is a relationship therapist and ordained former Baptist minister who holds advanced degrees in psychology and religion from the University of Chicago. Alongside his wife and collaborator, Helen LaKelly Hunt, he co-created Imago Relationship Therapy, which has transformed couples counseling worldwide. Hendrix has appeared multiple times on The Oprah Winfrey Show, received an Emmy for his on-air work, and authored numerous bestselling relationship books, including Keeping the Love You Find and Receiving Love. He has co-founded the Imago Institute and has trained thousands of therapists internationally in his method.Helen LaKelly Hunt, a writer and philanthropist in her own right, co-authors many of their books and has played an integral role in shaping and spreading Imago Therapy.
