Veronica Roth is an American author best known for the Divergent trilogy (Divergent, Insurgent, Allegiant), a bestselling dystopian series that explores identity, choice, and rebellion in a society divided into factions.

She wrote Divergent while still in college and quickly rose to fame, especially after the books were adapted into major films.
