About the Authors

Jocko Willink and Leif Babin are retired U.S. Navy SEAL officers who served in SEAL Team 3's Task Unit Bruiser during the Iraq War. Their unit was involved in intense combat operations, earning it the most decorated special operations unit from the war. After their military service, they co-founded Echelon Front, a leadership consulting firm that applies their combat leadership principles to help businesses and organizations improve performance. Willink also hosts the Jocko Podcast, focusing on leadership, discipline, and personal development.
