About the Author – 

Susan A. David, PhD (born September 13, 1970) is a South African–born psychologist, co-director of the Institute of Coaching at Harvard Medical School/McLean Hospital, and author of Emotional Agility, a Wall Street Journal bestseller translated into over 30 languages. She holds degrees from the University of Witwatersrand, a PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Melbourne, and postdoctoral training at Yale. Recognized by Thinkers50 with their Breakthrough Idea Award and named by Harvard Business Review as having the Management Idea of the Year, David is also an in-demand speaker whose TED talk on emotional courage has reached millions around the world.
