About the Author — 

Sherman Tai is a Hong Kong–born scholar turned professional feng shui consultant and Chinese divination expert. After graduating from the Hong Kong Polytechnic and studying in the U.S., he worked as a mechanical engineer before dedicating his life to metaphysical arts. Under mentorship from a master in his youth, he studied and practiced Chinese astrology (Ba Zi), feng shui, palm reading, and life-chart analysis for over four decades, blending Eastern tradition with a scientific and mathematical lens.

Since moving to Canada in 1990, Tai gained recognition as a feng shui master serving both private and corporate clients—including major institutions like HSBC and municipal facilities—while writing weekly astrology columns for Chinese-language media and hosting broadcasts on feng shui and destiny topics. He has authored several books in Chinese and English on feng shui and astrology, where his work is known for its clarity, cultural balance, and practical approach to eastern metaphysical practices
