About the Author

Amit Lodha (b. 1974) is an Indian Police Service officer from the 1998 Bihar cadre, currently serving as Additional Director General at Bihar’s State Crime Records Bureau. An engineering graduate from IIT Delhi, Lodha chose civil service over a corporate career to make a difference in police reform. His courage and investigative success earned him prestigious honours including the President’s Police Medal for Gallantry and the Internal Security Medal.
