He authored several books, with Barefoot to Boots being his most acclaimed work. Additionally, he edited the Durand Journal, India's most comprehensive football journal, from 1983 to 2016. Kapadia's contributions to sports journalism earned him the Wills Award for Excellence in Sports Journalism in 1986 .
