About the Author

David Walliams is a British comedian, actor, and hugely successful children’s author. Rising to fame with the sketch show Little Britain and later as a long-time judge on Britain’s Got Talent, Walliams began writing children’s novels in 2008, securing a HarperCollins contract. He has since become one of the UK’s best-selling children’s authors, with over 50 million books sold globally, and his works translated into more than 50 languages. Awful Auntie was his seventh novel and notably his first without the recurring character Raj—setting it uniquely in the 1930s.
