Apart from this, the book also records his profound meetings with Ananda Moi Ma, Ramana Maharshi, Master Mahasaya (a disciple of Ramakrishna Paramhansa), Jagadish Chandra Bose, Rabindranath Tagore and Mahatma Gandhi.

Apart from being an autobiography, the book also provides valuable information on the ancient science of Yoga and its tradition of meditation. Yogananda also sheds considerable light on the subtle but definite laws behind every ordinary events of life as well as the extraordinary or the miracles.

Published by Yogoda Satsanga Society of India in 2005, this Hindi translation of the book is available in paperback.

About the Author

Paramhansa Yogananda: Mukunda Lal Ghosh, who later became Paramahansa Yogananda, was born in 1893. A disciple of Sri Yukteswar, he became an ascetic at a young age and established a school to take the message of spirituality and yogic practices to the common people.
