ANIMAL TAILS is a collection of humorous poems about animal characters, It features hand painted characters set against a photographic backdrop of their environment.

This book draws attention to the need for conservation of natural habitats, as a mixture of man-made and natural ecological changes threaten the homes of these animals and for some their very existence.

SARAH FROGGATT has been writing and telling stories and poetry since she was at school and now for her children, nieces, nephews and other children. She advocates story telling and reading as an exercise in Imagination for the brain. She encourages her children to participate in her stories and help design the outcome; many of her stories Incorporate ideas and characters from them.

She uses rhyme to support phonetical development and spelling strategies for children. She uses stories to incorporate awareness and concern for the environment and is passionate about finding means to help others to help themselves, including ways to be more ecologically friendly and preserve wildlife both on land and under the sea.

In 1999 she took part in a 24 hour dive to document a reef in the Maldives over 24 hours, organised by Ocean & Environment. She has helped to paint animals and flora in a school Rainforest Café.

She lives in Singapore where she has the opportunity to appreciate the tropical flora and fauna in parks, the zoo anthespecially when these guests choose to pay an unexpected visit through the window.
