About the Author –

Lewis Carroll was the pen name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832–1898), an English author, mathematician, logician, and Anglican deacon. A lecturer in mathematics at Christ Church, Oxford, he is best remembered for his imaginative works of children's literature, especially Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and Through the Looking-Glass (1871). Dodgson’s fascination with logic, puzzles, and wordplay deeply influenced his storytelling, creating rich layers of meaning beneath the whimsical surface. His friendship with Alice Liddell—the real girl who inspired the fictional Alice—sparked the creation of these tales.
