Return & Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Return

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be in the same condition that you received it — unused, unworn, with tags, and in its original packaging.

  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

To initiate a return, please contact us at bestofusedbooks@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send the package.
Please note: Items sent back to us without prior return authorization will not be accepted.


Return Conditions

  • We issue Credit Notes upon successful return. These can be used on bestofusedbooks.com to purchase other books.

  • Rare books are non-returnable.

  • Products shipped via India Post (either upon customer request or due to logistics constraints) are not eligible for return.

  • No return is allowed once the customer has approved the order.

  • Orders that are processed/dispatched cannot be cancelled or modified. No return or refund will be allowed for such orders.

  • If a product is returned as undelivered due to reasons such as “Customer Not Available” or “Door Closed,” the buyer must bear the two-way shipping cost.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Customers must bear pickup charges for returns. These will be deducted from the credit note or gift card issued.

  • No returns are allowed for books priced below ₹100.

  • Sale items and gift cards/coupon code purchases are non-returnable.


Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if:

  • The item is damaged

  • You receive the wrong item

We’ll evaluate the issue and do our best to resolve it.


Exchanges

To get a different item, please return the one you have. Once your return is accepted, you can place a new order for the desired item.


Refunds

Refunds are only issued for:

  • Wrongly delivered items

  • Damaged products

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.
Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to reflect the refund.
