About the Author:
Sudha Murty, born in 1950 in Shiggaon, Karnataka, is a renowned author, philanthropist, and educator. She holds a master's degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Murty is the chairperson of the Infosys Foundation and has authored over 300 books in English and Kannada, encompassing novels, short stories, children's literature, and travelogues. Her works have been translated into all major Indian languages and have sold over 6 million copies across the country. In recognition of her contributions to literature and society, she has received numerous accolades, including the Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri awards from the Government of India.
