Book Summary

The novel follows Catherine Douglas, a woman who has survived a murder attempt by her powerful husband, Larry Douglas, and his lover, the cunning Noelle Page. After surviving and losing her memory, Catherine is placed under the care of a mysterious and influential Greek tycoon, Constantin Demiris, also known as Costa.

As Catherine gradually regains her memory, she becomes entangled in a new web of deceit. Demiris, who helped cover up the original crimes, now sees Catherine as a dangerous liability who knows too much. While pretending to protect her, he begins plotting her elimination to keep his secrets hidden.
